Denton has established himself in Scotland's back row this term and is a key figure in the Edinburgh side seeking victory at the Aviva Stadium and a place in the May 19 Heineken Cup final in London.
"It has been an incredible season for me personally and for the club too," the 22-year-old told Press Association Sport.
"The win against Toulouse was the best win I've ever experienced.
"There was a lot of emotion for me in the Six Nations and I felt really strongly about that.
"But playing for your club in Dublin at the Aviva is going to be incredible.
"It's going to be a tough game for us, but we showed we could do it against Toulouse and everyone knows how well we can attack when we're on song.
"If we can play close to our best, we're well capable of beating them."
Edinburgh, who beat four-time European champions Toulouse 19-14 in the quarter-final, are underdogs against Ulster, who are expected to travel with 40,000 fans as opposed to 4,000 from the Scottish capital.
Denton has a key role in subduing the threat of Ulster's talismanic flanker Stephen Ferris and is set to line-up opposite the British Lion at blindside.
Edinburgh head coach Michael Bradley is unlikely to make any changes from the side which secured the semi-final berth three weeks' ago, with captain Greig Laidlaw set to start at fly-half outside scrum-half Mike Blair, who is in his final season with the capital club.
Chris Paterson, Scotland's record points scorer and most-capped player, is likely to have to settle for a place on the replacements' bench at best after being placed on kicking tee duty against Toulouse.
Denton is optimistic, adding: "We've got some really strong players that are capable of changing the game.
"That's what you need. It's just about putting it together on the day and I'm really confident that we can."
