7s Champions vie for @lantic crown

The tournament to crown the @lantic Schools Sevens champion of South Africa will take place on Friday 4 November and Saturday 5 November 2001 at Konka near Rustenburg. Sixteen of South Africa's top Sevens school teams will compete to be crowned as the @lantic champion team. Tygerberg from Cape Town are the defending champions.

According to Strauss several players will be in action that recently participated in the inaugural @lantic Provincial Under-18 tournament which was won by the Blue Bulls.
 
This year seven schools qualified for the first time to participate in the Champions tournament. They are Noordkaap, Kempton Park, Paarl Gimnasium, Die Brandwag of Uitenhage, Dale College, Oudtshoorn and Maritzburg College.
 
Friday's matches kick-off at 17.00. Saturday's matches will be broadcast live from 13.00 to 16.15 on SuperSport 1 with the Cup Final being played at 15.22
