Warren Gatland's side embarked on two trips to Spala during their build-up to the World Cup, where they finished fourth, and the head coach believed they were a key factor in Wales' impressive performances in New Zealand.
And the players appear set for a return to that tough environment, which included the use of cryotherapy chambers, prior to their Six Nations opener against Ireland in Dublin of February 5.
Fly-half Rhys Priestland said: "We have probably shot ourselves in the foot by doing so well at the World Cup. If it is anything like the two camps we had out there in the summer it will be very tough.
"They were hard but we have seen the benefits and rewards and we will look forward to working hard again."
Hooker Matthew Rees added: "It looks like we will be going back there after the rewards we gained from the last two camps and it will be good in terms of that extra bit of physical fitness ahead of a tough campaign.
"It is a lovely Christmas present but as players we know the sort of gains we got in terms of muscle mass and if we can get that in again it can give us an extra edge."
