Bok centre back for Stormers

The Stormers welcome back Springbok centre Juan de Jongh who will link up with his skipper Jean de Villiers in the midfield against the Sharks at Newlands on Saturday.

With De Jongh back to full fitness Bryan Habana moves back to his more familiar position on the left wing and the quicksilver Gio Aplon moves across to the right, forcing Gerhard van den Heever onto the replacements bench.

Stormers coach Allister Coetzee has decided to give young flyhalf Gary van Aswegen another chance after a disappointing performance in their opening game of the season against the Hurricanes last week, and he will be backed up by Peter Grant who has returned from Japan to take his place on the bench.

Coetzee said that apart from giving Van Aswegen another opportunity at pivot he is also following the exact same procedure as last year with Grant by playing him off the bench in his first game back.

In the only change to the forward pack that started against the Hurricanes the explosive Siya Kolisi comes in at the side of the scrum to replace the injured Schalk Burger.
