The 2012 Rugby Championship, formerly known as the Tri Nations, is the inaugural tournament with the four team format with the inclusion of Argentina. The annual tournament should be the best ever with the additional team and each side hoping to make their claim to the best team in the southern hemisphere.
The Rugby Championship kicks off on August 18, 2012 and runs through October 6, 2012. The teams play each other twice in a home and away format.
