New Zealand star Glen Jackson was the hero for Saracens once again on Saturday - kicking 14 points for the 'home' side as they recorded a 19-14 win over Northampton in the first-ever rugby match played on the Wembley turf.
A hard fought battle between two very ambitious sides, Saracens went into the break just 9-3 ahead after two penalties and one drop goal to Jackson against just a drop goal from Saints flyhalf Shane Geraghty.
The an exciting second half saw both sides score tries inside the first 10 minutes, Noah Cato for Saracens and Jon Clarke for Northampton.
Wembley then witnessed a dramatic final quarter of an hour after two penalties from Geraghty and one from jackson took the score to 19-16.
Adding to the drama, Saracens hooker Schalk Brits picking up a yellow card with just 12 minutes left on the clock.
Having come back from the brink last weekend no one was doubting that Saints could snatch something at the death. Fighting for every hard, the two teams battled it out right up until the final whistle.
Saracens had enough though - holding on to take the win.
