Leicester scrumhalf Julien Dupuy has hinted that his time at Welford Road has come to an end - insisting that he will be playing Heineken Cup rugby next season, just not with the Tigers.
The talented Frenchmen has long been linked with a move to Stade Francais and, despite still having a year to run on his current contract, looks set to make the move this summer.
While he himself says he has enjoyed his time in Leicester his girlfriend has reportedly struggled to settle and in fact returned to France already.
"I want to go back to France - my life is there," he said to the Leicester Mercury.
"I will be sad to leave the club and I have enjoyed my time here.
"Richard Cockerill has been fantastic and it was a great season winning the Guinness Premiership - but that's it."
Dupuy was in the starting lineup for the Tigers disappointing 19-16 defeat to Leinster in the Heineken Cup final over the weekend but believes now that his time with the English Champions is up - all that remains is to sort out the details.
"I don't know what is going to happen yet. We will see over the next few days because we have had the European final and that was the important thing. You will see me in the Heineken Cup next season but I'm not sure who with."
