Heineken Cup

The Glasgow Warriors have been presented with a "great opportunity" after being handed a favourable Heineken Cup draw, according to head coach Sean Lineen.

Lineen is delighted to have been grouped in Pool Two, which includes Gloucester, Biarritz and the Dragons and he will fancy his team's chances of advancing in the European flagship competition.

The Warriors will be looking to get off to a strong start in the 2009/2010 edition, after having stuttered to early defeats which derailed their challenge in the tournament won by Irish side Leinster.   

"The draw presents a great opportunity for us," he told planetrugby after the draw.

"The players are a year older now and it really gets the juices flowing when you see the quality of the teams we have been drawn against.

"Those two opening defeats last year really took the wind out of our sails so I'm really excited about going in and making our mark in next year's competition. Bring it on."
