Fourteen-man 'Tahs in sensational win
2010-02-13 12:15:01

Daniel Halangahu slotted a conversion on the full-time hooter to secure the Waratahs a sensational come-from-behind 30-28 win in their Super 14 Round One match in Brisbane on Saturday.

Trailing by 10 points and reduced to 14 men with five minutes to go, the 'Tahs scored two late tries to sneak home ahead of a determined Reds team.

It was No.8 Wycliff Palu who burrowed his way over in the 80th minute to tie up the game and Halangahu slotted to conversion for the two-point victory.
